
Started this blog and we might have the kids make entries for their school or create a separate blog for them. It's easy to add photos such as the one on the left that shows the port city of Rijeka, Croatia, where we will be living for 5 months.
Reality is starting to set in and the excitement is building. It's funny how you don't really want to believe that it could really happen but when it does you get excited and apprehensive at the same time.
As far as updates are concerned, we sent off the forms to get our Passports. Not the best pictures but then how often do you look at your passport?
Borrowed books from the library and found one that talks about traveling with kids that gives some great ideas. I am going to try to find the travel guide on Croatia that I had seen before that had a lot of pictures.
Learning the language has proven to be more difficult than I had imagined. Nouns have masculine and feminine forms and the word order is different than in English. Who would have thought that the kids are able to absorb the language a lot quicker than the adults.
